Top Five Things To Do This Easter
1. Gloucester Quays’ Spring Fest
The thrill seekers among you will be sure to enjoy Gloucester Quays’ Adventure Zone this Easter holiday. There will be High Ropes, a dark and thrilling Cave Adventure and a Ninja Warrior Assault course! There will even be lawn games for the little ones. There will also be a ‘Bunny Run’ where you will be able to pick up a map from the customer service desk and find the Easter Bunnies located around the centre. Once completed there will be a small prize. Over the Easter weekend they will also be holding a Spring Market with stalls selling every from sweet treats to outdoor living furniture.
It will be running from 8th April to the 23rd 7 days a week, 11am-5pm daily and until 6 over the Easter Weekend. Admission to Spring Fest is free but individual prices do apply for some of the attractions.
If you’re an animal lover, then be sure to make your way down to Three Counties’ Countrytastic. This family-friendly event offers a large selection of entertainment and activities while also allowing you to get up close with a variety of animals from reptiles to guinea pigs. It will also be the first opportunity to vote for your favourite miniature ‘Henson’ sculpture designed by various schools and organisations throughout Gloucestershire.
The show is open 10am – 5pm on the 13th April. SOLD OUT! here are no tickets on the day so be sure to book up early.
3. Over Farm Easter Trail
Head on over to Over this Easter holiday for Over Farm’s Easter trail. The trail will take you on a short walk around the farm in search of the Easter Bunny’s giant eggs and will give you a chance to meet many of the animals. There will also be a chance for face painting over the Easter weekend which is sure to get you in to the Easter Spirit.
The trail will be from Saturday 8th to Sunday 23rd April between 9am and 4PM. Tickets are £3 per child and there will be a prize if you crack the trail!
4. Blackfriars Bunny Hunt
Hop on over to Blackfriars on this Easter weekend and follow the clues to find hidden bunnies all over the priory. There will even be a chocolate treat at the end of the puzzle!
The hunt will be running on the 16th and 17th April between 10-3 with prices at 50p per child and adults go free. It is sure to be a fun filled day at a bargain price!
5. Gloucester Life Museum
Bring out your inner author this Easter holiday as Gloucester Life Museum host a workshop where you and your little one can get creative and write a unique bedtime story.
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 11th April from 1pm to 4.30pm. Tickets are £25 and this covers one adult accompanied by 1 child aged 5-8.
