Civic Trust walking tours are one of the best way to learn about the city of Gloucester and its rich history. The guides offer incredible insight into the heritage of the city and the Docks. The Trust run a wide array of interesting and informative guided tours and talks throughout the year, and also provide self guided walks with the use of MP3 downloads. Historic city tours take place every day except Sundays from April to September, and even static tours for those with limited mobility are also available. Docks tours can be arranged by contacting the Civic Trust.

Gloucester Ghost Walks
Are you intrigued by the supernatural and spooky? Gloucester hosts paranormal investigation walks around the city and the county. Gloucester Ghost Walks will also be adding more elements to the walks as the year goes on to make them more and more enjoyable for participants. It is also possible to arrange overnight events, paranormal investigations and vigils in various locations all across Gloucester.
The local Gloucester Brewery offers tours to the public on the last Friday of every month. Tours can be attended by anyone as long as prior booking occurs. During the tour you will get to try generous samples of three to four beers, enjoy a half an hour talk and tour of the brewery site and finish off with a buffet of local meats and cheeses that complement the selection of beers for that evening.
