Housed in a Victorian Warehouse originally built in 1890 for Matthews Furniture, Gloucester Antiques Centre is one of the largest and longest established antiques centres in the UK, members of the West England Antiques Dealers Association (WEADA) and 2010 Silver winners of the Cotswold Tourism Awards. Located in the beautiful surroundings of Gloucester Docks, Britain's most inland port, the centre is conveniently located adjacent to Gloucester Quays designer outlet centre.
Having played host to BBC's 'Bargain Hunt' during summer 2010, the popular centre can also provide customers with a 'personal shopper' (when staffing levels permit) to help with their choices. Alternatively, customers can now browse and shop online at www.gacl.co.uk.
The Dotty Tea Spot Café, located on the second floor of the centre, specialises in fresh loose leaf teas and locally produced food and is proud to have recently been awarded with a 5 star hygiene award! Also available for private hire and it is actively encouraged as a meeting places for regular smaller groups too.
Gloucester Antiques Centre and the Dotty Tea Spot Cafe have joined the social networking generation and can now be found on Facebook and Twitter!
