We advise you to allow a minimum of least three hours to view the gardens.

Pied Piper volunteers manage the refreshments area and all monies received from the visits go to a local children’s charity of which the owner of Highnam Court is Chairman: See for details about the charity.

Road Directions

From the North: Get off the M5 at Junction 11, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A40 (signposted Gloucester/Cirencester). At Elmbridge Court roundabout take the 4th exit (signposted Ross). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (signposted Ross). At Over roundabout, take the 2nd exit continuing on the A40. Continue on this bypass; you will see Highnam Court on the right (there is no access from this side of the road). Continue until you get to the roundabout and take the third exit, the entrance to Highnam Court Gardens is the first left turn.

From the South: Get off the M5 at Junction 12, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the B4008. At the Cross Keys roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout continue forward. At the traffic lights continue forward (stay in the left hand lane, signposted Ross) onto the A430, Secunda Way. Continue forward on this by pass until you come to a roundabout, stay in the left hand lane and take the 2nd exit (on to Hempstead Lane). Follow the road until you arrive at a T Junction. At the T Junction turn left. Keep in the left hand lane and then turn left on to the A40. Continue on this by pass, you will see Highnam Court on the right (there is no access from this side of the road). Continue until you get to the roundabout and take the third exit, the entrance to Highnam Court Gardens is the first left turn.

Public Transport Directions

Highnam Court Gardens are approximately 1 and a half miles out of Gloucester City Centre. If you arrive by Train, come out of the Train Station and cross Bruton Way in to the Bus Station. You can catch either the Stagecoach 24a, 30, 31 or 33 service. There is a Bus stop on the opposite side of the road from Highnam Court (just before roundabout). Please be careful crossing the road as it is a very busy road.
