The Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre offer packages to suit all ages and abilities
Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre is located on the outskirts of the city of Gloucester on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds.
Having opened in 1973, the centre has a rich heritage. Based on former farm land, the centre occupies a 12 acre site.
It is home to the UK's only permanent Big AirBag and is home to the longest slope in England and Wales.
Offering a wide range of activities, Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre is the perfect place to come while being enjoyable and affordable at the same time.
The centre is ideal for learning to ski / snowboard alongside getting in a bit of practice or brushing up on your skills before your trip away to the snow.

Map & Directions
From the North: Get off the M5 at Junction 11, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A40 (signposted Gloucester/Cirencester). At Elmbridge Court roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A417. At C&G roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417. At Walls roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A38. Continue forward along Eastern Avenue until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Painswick Road (B4073). At the crossroads continue forward and then take the next right turn into Matson Lane. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to Matson Lane and the Ski Club is just to the left.
From the South: Get off the M5 at Junction 12, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the B4008. At the Cross Keys Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout continue forward. At the traffic lights turn right onto Cole Avenue (A38). Continue forward at the crossroads and take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout (Finlay Road). At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Cotteswold Road. At the mini roundabout turn right and continue forward at the crossroad. Take next right turn into Matson Lane. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit on to Matson Lane and the Ski Club is just to the left.
Public Transport Directions
Gloucester City Centre is approximately 3.5 miles away from the Ski and Snowboard Centre in Matson. The Stagecoach number one service runs from Clarence Street to Matson every ten minutes.

On a Thursday & Sunday the race slope is closed from 6pm.
If you are visiting for a particular facility please check before travelling.
Please note that in order to recreationally ski or snowboard on our slopes, you must be able to meet our recreational standards i.e. you must be able to control your speed and direction, turn, stop and use the lifts - in accordance with the the Responsibility Code.
