Throughout half term, there are a variety of events to keep both yourselves and your children entertained. For any further information about each individual event please click on the links.
Saturday 13th February

Clearwell Caves – ‘Walk in the Miners footsteps’. 2pm for 3 hours. An opportunity to visit deep levels of Clearwell caves which are not normally seen giving you the chance to see the caves as the miners used to see them. This is a caving activity with adventure included, no experience necessary. Adults £15, Children (7-17) £10. Please pre book.

Gloucester Quays – ‘Fancy a New Man for Valentine’s Day?’11am/1pm/3pm. Bring your man to the Quays stylists at Calvin Klein and Hawes & Curtis for a fabulous free style consultation. FREE

Gloucester Folk Museum – 'Valentines Saturday Club'. 11am – 3pm. Make a Valentines card for your sweetheart with a variety of arts and crafts. FREE

Nature in Art – 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year Exhibition'. 10am – 5pm. The world’s largest and most prestigious wildlife photography competition jointly owned by the National History Museum and BBC Wildlife magazine. Visitors will be able to meet artist in residence Carl Thompson who is an illustrator. A chance to see breathtaking photography from around the world. Entrance charges apply.

Gloucester City Museum – 'Crafty Corner Activities'. 10.30am – 4.30pm. Celebrate 2010 as the Chinese Year of the Tiger by creating your own tiger mask. FREE

Cafe Rene – 'BOUNCE'. 10pm – 3pm. An indie rock dance club night. FREE before 11pm £2 after.

Gloucester Rugby – 'Gloucester v Harlequins'. 3pm kickoff. Gloucester Rugby will be taking on the Twickenham-based Harlequins at the Kingsholm stadium for their next Guinness Premiership match. Ticketed event, prices vary.

Gloucester Cathedral – 'Jambrass – 2 trumpets and 2 trombones'. 11am. A recital by Jambrass, funds raised will be used to support Gloucester Cathedral Choir, a registered charity. Ticketed event £6.
Sunday 14th February

National Waterways Museum – 'Boater’s Craft Demonstrations'. 11am – 2.30pm. A chance to take part in various traditional canal craft demonstrations including making rag rugs, bonnets, belts, crochet and rope.

Gloucester City Museum – ‘A night in the Museum’. All day event. An event to celebrate the launch of Around the World in 100 artifacts. It will include craft activities, talks, films and reenactments based on the 10 objects chosen for Gloucestershire. FREE
