Gloucester Rugby can consider itself to be a unique English rugby club.
Founded in 1873 and, with its Kingsholm Stadium home situated near the heart of the city, the club enjoys an enviably close relationship with its supporters. Gloucester is a true rugby city, where people proudly walk the streets wearing the famous Cherry and White hoops.
Gloucester has played all of its rugby in the top flight of English club rugby and a recent heritage grant has allowed the club to showcase their rich history along the walls of the stadium.
Gloucester Rugby plays its home fixtures at Kingsholm, a stone's throw away from the city centre.
Although Kingsholm is a magnificent rugby venue, capable of holding over 16,000 supporters and a regular venue for representative rugby, it offers much more besides.
The recent redevelopment of the South Stand incorporated fully catered banqueting and conference facilities. The new facility is one of the most impressive venues in the Cotswolds and South West.
We cater for social events such as work parties, end of year balls and even weddings, as we have a civil wedding licence.
As well as being the home of Gloucester Rugby, Kingsholm is a unique conference venue.
