Gloucester Cathedral's Cloisters were transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in Harry Potter and the Philosphers Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.
Doctor Who Filming Location
The Tardis and David Tennant arrived in the City as Gloucester Cathedral grounds were used as the filming location for Doctor Who's 2008 Christmas Special - The Next Doctor.

Gloucester Docks is home to Britain's most inland port, which makes it the perfect filming location for productions like The Onedin Line, Vanity Fair, Maurice, Hanny and more recently Amazing Grace and The Colour of Magic featuring David Jason.
