Gloucester is to celebrate 12 of its most iconic and magnificent buildings and locations with a new set of collector's postcards and accompanying guide designed to appeal to both visitors and city residents.
The Gloucester 12 will be chosen from a list of more than 20 suggested buildings and places with the help of the people of the city, who'll be able to share their views through stories in the local press and on social networking sites including Facebook and twitter.
The project is being coordinated by the Gloucester Heritage Urban Regeneration Company Ltd and Marketing Gloucester Ltd, and postcards and guides will be available from Gloucester Tourist Information Centre and other attractions, hotels and guest houses from early May.
