Bring the Kids to see Humungousaur from Ben 10 Alien Force at Gloucester Quays.

 

He’ll be having fun with the children at the times above. The event is FREE but spaces are limited for each session, so avoid disappointment by picking up your tickets before the day at the Customer Service Desk.

 

 GLOUCESTER FOLK MUSEUM

Ancient Folk at the Folk

Teaming up with BBC learning as part of the ancients TV series -   the folk museum are holding a family fun day on Saturday 19th February. Meet Cuda the Celtic princess,who will tell you all about life in prehistoric times. Families can draw their own historic picture using ancient objects and have a go at weaving their own bookmarks.

Ancient themed story telling sessions will run at midday, 1pm and 3pm and a host of other activities will be available.

Come and collect your Explorer's backpack containing torch, binoculars, magnifying glass and other essential items needed to follow the trail leading you through 900 years of architectural history. Have fun!

Exhibition and Whispering Gallery

Half Term holiday opening

Get up close to the Great East Window with our Face to Face exhibition!
The exhibition is located in the tribune gallery and shows you how and why the window was made and explains how this amazing medieval work of art managed to survive for 650 years.
Walking around the gallery enables you to view the window much closer than you can from the ground, and also lets you experience the Whispering Gallery which is great fun for children and adults alike.
Admission £2.00. Accompanied children free.

Is running climbing sessions ranging from an hour and a half to two day camps. Join in the Rock Mice ( 5 – 10 yrs) or Rock Ratz ( 7 - 16 yrs) sessions.

Special Holiday Airsoft Open Session

 

Airsoft is similar to paintball in that two teams run a campaign of missions and skirmishes aiming to outwit and out manoeuvre the enemy. On a purpose-built battlefield with replica weapons such as AK47’s, this is as real as it get’s! Missions are won by clear strategy and knowing the strengths of each weapon and member of your squad.

The Airsoft guns shoot small 6mm biodegradable balls and have an accurate range of 60 metres minimum.

 

Price - £15-25.00 a session

Includes - gun rental, magazine, soft drinks, eye and face protection, camouflage overalls and 600 rounds

Extra rounds: £5 for 600

  • Outdoor laser Combat Missions from age 7 to adult
  • Multi-acre Battlefield with Woodland

Missions use sniper, light and sub-machine guns and are high adrenaline, yet painfree (no projectiles)

StreetGames Gloucester aims to deliver free doorstep sport to local areas in Gloucester. Why don't you be part of the fun and take part in a mixture of multi sports including football, tennis, basketball and handball in a fun and relaxed environment. Sessions are run by qualified CRB checked coaches. No need to pre-book, a short registration form to be completed at the start of the session. ACE (Activity club for Everyone)


Every Wednesday: 4.30-5.30pm Stratford Park Leisure Centre


Cost: £3per child per session


Age: 6-18 years old




ACE is aimed and delivered for the benefit of children and young people with learning, behavioural and sensory disabilities. The programme delivers and array of sport and activities including parachute games, Boccia, tennis, football, cricket, circle time games and many more! The sessions offers an inclusive enjoyable environment for all and siblings are also welcome at the sessions. The programme is run by the fully trained ACE Co-ordinator.
