Nature in Art Museum is pleased to announce its exhibition “Drawn to the Soul”, a 25 year retrospective of the art of Gary Hodges. This will be the first time over 40 original Hodges pencil drawings will have been assembled together, borrowed back from collectors.
Gary Hodges is one of the UK’s most collected artists. His limited edition prints have been highly sought after for many years With one of his first limited editions (of 850 prints) which originally sold for £8.50 exchanging hands for £3,500. He has sold over 105,000 l/e prints from 122 editions and his popularity has attracted many accolades, including the once-in-a-life-time “Best selling Published Artist” award from the Fine Art Trade Guild, placing him alongside artists such as Beryl Cook, John Vettriano and Mackenzie Thorpe.
Gary Hodges’ art has raised well over half a million pounds for wildlife charities, his latest contribution being one of the elephants in London’s Elephant Parade (Tattoo).
