Fireworks Spectacular This Weekend in Gloucester!
31st July 2010
Gloucester Park has seen some big audiences over the past few weeks, with more than 4,000 people enjoying Carnival Day, 8,000 at Music in the Park and over 1,000 visiting the urban beach, but the biggest is yet to come for a huge fireworks spectacular this coming Saturday (July 31st).
More than 10,000 people are expected at the event, which will see the UK’s best firework company present a huge display using the latest digital technology, all set to music and featuring spectacular pyrotechnics.

Kimbolton Fireworks, the company orchestrating the display, have twice won the Gold Prize at the Cannes International Pyrotechnic Festival and are also responsible for Edinburgh’s annual Hogmanay display above the city’s famous castle, Dublin St Patrick’s Day celebrations, the unforgettable Trafalgar 300 commemoration and the Henley Royal Regatta each year.
The event will also feature walkabout performers entertaining the crowds prior to the show and Heart 102.4’s alfresco experience offering a place to chill out prior to the main event!
Entertainment will begin in the park from 8pm, with the fireworks at approximately 9.30pm as darkness falls.
