Gloucester Indoor Market goes 'wacky'
Gloucester Indoor Market goes 'wacky'
27th July 2010
Wednesdays are going to be a wee bit 'wacky' at the Eastgate indoor
market during the summer.
The city council markets team has organised a range of events especially
to keep children happy while their parents shop.
'Wacky Wednedays' will involve word search competitions, face painting
coupled with two extra special sets of entertainment.
The free fun sessions get under way on July 28 and then run for the
following four weeks through August until August 25.
August 18 sees the arrival of Alfredo the clown who will entertain and
enthral his audience with balloon modelling from 12 - 4.
August 25 will see a craft and fun art workshop from 10 - 4.
Council Leader Paul James, commented: " There is just so much to do in
the city during the summer and it's great that city council services are
joining in.
" The indoor market is a real gem to wander around and with summer
activities for the youngsters there is even more of a reason to come
along and see what it has to offer."
