Don't miss the World Together Festival in the Park - Line up now revealed
14th July 2010
The World Together Festival on Sunday 18th July, programmed by World Jungle, is all about bringing together and showcasing the wealth of talent and expertise available from our richly diverse cultural communities in Gloucestershire. The festival will include a variety of stalls selling crafts, food from around the world and fun activities.
A packed programme of live performance and dance will be the highlight of the event, with a wealth of professional local talent from across the south west performing onstage and reflecting the diversity of the area's different cultural groups.
In addition, the festival will also be part of the UK-wide ‘Big Lunch’ celebration, with visitors being encouraged to bring their lunch to Gloucester Park, share with family, friends and sample foods from all around the world.
The line up for this event is as follows:
1pm: Baraka
2pm: Breakthrough of Kulcha Young Bands
5pm: Laid Blak
6.30pm: Asian Music and Dance
What's more this event is FREE - so why not head to Gloucester Park this weekend for a great weekend to celebrate the start of "Summer in Gloucester".
