Gloucestershire Business Time
Gloucestershire Business Time
15th June 2010
A new government means change, but what does the new coalition government mean for the future of Gloucestershire’s economy? With a new budget set to tackle a record deficit, how will it impact on local businesses? What steps can businesses take to emerge stronger from recession?
On behalf of the local business community, we would like to invite you to a Question Time for Gloucestershire Businesses, taking place on Thursday 1st July at Gloucester Quays. Drawing on the familiar BBC’s Question Time format, our expert panel chaired by Ian Mean, editor-in-chief of Gloucestershire Media, will be inviting questions from the floor. This is a free event for local business leaders across the region.
Topics likely to be covered include:
Implications of the new budget on businesses in the region
Impact of the coalition government on the region’s economy, regeneration and development
Funding, VAT and taxation
Strategic property management and maximising value from property
Employment trends
Focusing on the big issues facing managing and finance directors of businesses both large and small, there will be opportunities to share views over refreshments, following the Question Time session.
This is an all ticket event so to reserve your free place and submit a question for the panel, please register:
