Gloucester Guildhall presents Field Music - Friday 4th June
1st June 2010
Gloucester Guildhall and SNG Promotions Present:
Field Music
Plus Guests
Straight from Bristol`s famed Dot to Dot Festival and before their Glastonbury Festival appearance, Field Music come to Gloucester.
Following a self-imposed three-year hiatus they return to the UK Live scene with a new 20 track double album.
Brothers and co-front men Peter and David Brewis (who at one time played drums for fellow Sunderland band The Futureheads), Field Music's line up now includes Kev Dosdale (guitar and keys) and Ian Black (bass).
The brother's renewed love of the rock music cannon teamed with a discovery of some of pop's overlooked adventurers means you'll hear echoes of and allusions to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Bowie, Richard Thompson, PJ Harvey, Kate Bush, Talk Talk, Lou Reed, Brian Eno, Roxy Music, Todd Rundgren and Discipline-era King Crimson.
