New festival for Gloucester - The Underground Festival at Gloucester Guildhall
New festival for Gloucester - The Underground Festival at Gloucester Guildhall
6th April 2010
Taking place on 25th/26th September at Gloucester Guildhall, The Underground Festival will host more than 40 bands over the weekend plus DJs. The full line up is due to be announced on the 1st May and with weekend tickets only costing £25 and day tickets £15 it is an excellent weekend of entertainment.
Festival Organiser and Programming Manager at the Guildhall Joe Schiavon says
'There's been a lot of emerging music festivals popping up over the last few years - Dot to Dot in Nottingham and Bristol, Live at Leeds etc. We've got a fantastic venue and great support from our audience and we think we can bring something really special to the city on the last weekend in September. We've put together a really strong lineup of some of the best upcoming bands in the country and made the tickets as cheap as possible. Hopefully this will be the first year of what goes on the become a mainstay in the festival calendar. We just hope the people of Gloucestershire get as excited about it as we are.'
