Wired picks up exactly where it left off, and starts 2011 with a bang. Playing we have Lost on Landing, I Call A Strike, Rough Diamond and Dirty Tricks.

Yellow Brick Road: The Elton John Tribute
Yellow Brick Road is a highly professional touring tribute to the music of the great Elton John. Spanning over four decades of hits, this group of talented musicians capture the spirit and energy of the legendary Rocket Man himself and their live shows are a must see for any Elton fan.

Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival 2011
After the great success of this year's event, we are delighted to announce the Gloucester Cajun and Zydeco Festival will return for its 18th year in 2011. Highlights include The Zydeco Diamonds, led by ex-Zfunk accordion player Gavin Lewery and featuring top Louisiana name of Harold Guillory. Joining them and headlining the Saturday are The Flatville Aces and the line-up is completed by The Bayou Brothers, all the way from the USA. Knitters With Attitude
Free group for all who are interested in knitting, crochet, spinning.
Whether you’re used to tangling with the wool and the needles or casting on for the first time, come and do it in company and comfort in the Guildhall’s café-bar. A chat and a drink will help your fingers fly, plus there’ll be advice on hand for those tricky bits. Just turn up with your kit and join in.

Folk Unplugged

Musiclab: The Guildhall Open Stage
We don’t care whether you’ve never played in public before or if you’ve just been signed to a major label, at our monthly open mic we promise you a PA and a famously warm and friendly audience. Roots, rock n’ roll, blues, soul, hip-hop, rap - any kind of music is welcome and crazy hybrid jamming is encouraged. We’ll even lend you a guitar.
Alternatively, come along to watch and be inspired, make new friends, form a band, challenge the MC to play the most unlikely cover version in the world. Where else can you have that much fun on a Tuesday night for free?

Returning to his old patch he visits Irene to uncover old secrets.
This edge-of-seat thriller’s examination of the search for justice and the centrality of memory earned it Best Foreign Language Oscar.

The mountain air of the Abruzzi pleases him, as do his encounters with the parish priest and local whore, but as the weapon nears completion he finds reasons to doubt whether any of his contacts can be trusted.
