New for Christmas 2010 - Dracula the Pantomime comes to Gloucester
9th November 2010
Following the success of last year, Gloucester Guildhall is delighted to announce that they have once again teamed up with the Gloucester Operatic Dramatic Society for this year’s fang-tastic pantomime, Dracula.
A unusual alternative to the traditional panto fayre usually on offer at Christmas, Dracula: The Pantomime still promises to deliver fun for all the family, and with its thrill-packed storyline is sure to be a big hit.
The story goes like this. Dame Plasma Van Helsing and her daughter Buffy (who are being evicted from their home by the evil landlord Major Artery on Christmas Eve) set out with their friends Rema Globin and Dr Paul Bearer to hunt down the vampire that is terrorising Old London Town. With the help of Fred Corpuscle, Inspector Ventricle and PC Platelet they track the vampire across London to the Castle of Count Dracula. On their travels they meet characters such as the Andrex Sisters, Buster Bloodvessel and the Invisible Man (although of course they can’t see actually him). Will there be a happy ending? Will Dame Plasma and Buffy be home in time for Christmas? Come and find out if you dare!
Make sure you join in the fun this Christmas with Gloucester Guildhall, but beware – you might just die laughing…
