Choughed!

Amongst the most characterful of birds are members of the Corvidae family- a cosmopolitan group of oscine passerine birds that contains the crows, ravens, jays, rooks, jackdaws, magpies, treepies, choughs and nut crackers. This exhibition includes two and three-dimensional items that bring these birds to life.

This exhibition includes paintings, prints and sculpture by artists as diverse as sculptors Terence Coventry, Bryan Hanlon, Geoffrey Dashwood and Harriet Mead; painters Henry Bismuth, George Lodge, Frank Southgate, and Ralston Gudgeon; printmakers Allen Seaby, Ishbel MacDonald, Sue Brown and Kim Atkinson; plus items from Royal Doulton and Royal Copenhagen and other ceramics.

Sue Stafford

Who do YOU think you are?

History is all around us and at Nature in Art we have our wonderful building as part of our heritage. It is not just the buildings, but people and places that are important too. Tonight, Sue Stafford will talk about resources that we can find to explore our heritage, our family history, the history of our home, what grandfather did in the War or the buildings that we love to visit- like Wallsworth Hall. A really fascinating and enlightening evening.
