The fast supper not the last supper at Gloucester Cathedral
The fast supper not the last supper at Gloucester Cathedral
29th October 2010
Times have changed dramatically over the last 500 years since Leonardo da Vinci gave us his well known and loved depiction of The Last Supper.
The Fast Supper by local artist Abigail Fallis shown below at Gloucester Cathedral is a stark reminder of how our mass produced lifestyle has resulted in false pleasures.

Abigail will be on hand at the Cathedral on Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning this coming week (3rd 1.15 - 2pm and 5th November10.15-11am) to talk about her art with visitors to the Cathedral and answer any questions they may have.
This is a rare opportunity for the public to interact with an established artist and to see her work, alongside the work of 46 other artists during the very last week of the"Crucible" sculpture exhibition -which has been extended by one weekdue to huge public demand.
If you haven't visited Gloucester Cathedral to see this fantastic exhibition over the last 2 months this is your last chance to do so! Don't let the opportunity pass you by.
