An independent restaurant serving a variety of food, including English and modern European, using only the freshest local produce. This means that our menus are constantly changing to take advantage of the seasonal availability of vegetables, fish and game. Will cater very well for dietary requirements.
Afternoon teas are also served. Booking is advisable for evening meals, since the restaurant is not open for every evening. Lunches are served between 12 noon and 3pm daily, afternoon teas and light bites are served between 3pm and 5pm and evening restaurant hours start from 7pm. Morning coffee and cakes are also served between 10am and 12 noon.

Road Directions
From the North: Get off the M5 at Junction 11, at the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A40 (signposted Gloucester/Cirencester). At Elmbridge Court roundabout take the 4th exit (signposted Ross). At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A38 and then at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417 (St. Oswald’s Road). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A417. Stay in the right hand lane around Westgate Island and then exit right onto Royal Oak Road. Continue forward at the set of traffic lights, at Over roundabout turn left. On the next traffic lights turn right. The Wharf House is located at the entrance of houses estate.
From the South: Get off the M5 at Junction 12, at the roundabout take the first exit onto the B4008. At the Cross Keys roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout continue forward. At the traffic lights continue forward (stay in the left hand lane, signposted Ross) onto the A430, Secunda Way. Continue forward on this by pass until you come to a roundabout, stay in the left hand lane and take the 2nd exit (on to Hempstead Lane). Follow the road until you arrive at a T Junction. At the T Junction turn left onto Over Causeway. At the roundabout turn left. On the next traffic lights turn right. The Wharf House is located at the entrance of the housing estate.
Public Transport Directions
The Wharf House is approximately 1 mile and a half out of the city centre of Gloucester. You can get the Stagecoach service 24, 24a, 33, 30 or 31 bus from Gloucester Bus Station.
Please note that you will get off the bus on the opposite side of the road to the Wharf House. There is no pedestrianised crossing and the A40 is a very busy road. Please take extra care.
