Road Directions

If travelling from the North, exit the M5 Motorway at Junction 11 and bear right on to the Golden Valley By-pass (A40). At the end of the dual carriage way turn right on to the Northern By-pass (A40). Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout, where you should then turn left on to Tewkesbury Road (A38). Follow this road down until you reach the next roundabout, where you should continue forward on to Kingsholm Road (A430). The Albert House is situated along this road on the left hand side, past the Rugby Ground (on the right) and just before the railway bridge.

If travelling from the South, exit the M5 Motorway at Junction 11a and bear to the left on to the Barnwood By-pass (A417), continuing over Zoons Court roundabout. At the next roundabout, turn right on to the Barnwood Link Road (A40 / A417). At the following roundabout, continue straight over and join the Northern By-pass (A40). Follow this road until you reach the next roundabout, where you should then turn left on to Tewkesbury Road (A38). Follow this road down until you reach the next roundabout, where you should continue forward on to Kingsholm Road (A430). The Albert House is situated along this road on the left hand side, past the Rugby Ground (on the right) and just before the railway bridge.

Public Transport Directions

If travelling from the Train Station, turn right out of the Train Station and join Bruton Way. Continue along this road, and at the second set of traffic lights turn right into Worcester Street. The Albert is situated approximately 100 yards on the right, after the railway bridge but before the Rugby Ground (this is situated on the opposite side of the road to The Albert House).

If travelling from the Bus Station, contniue straight out of the Bus Station, cross the road (there is a crossing between the Bus Station and the Train Station) joining Bruton Way. Turn left and continue along this road. At the second set of traffic lights turn right into Worcester Street. The Albert is situated approximately 100 yards on the right, after the railway bridge but before the Rugby Ground (this is situated on the opposite side of the road to The Albert House).

Alternatively, you can catch Stagecoach bus numbers 97/98 or 71 from the Bus Station that travel past The Albert House. Exit the bus outside the Rugby Ground, cross the road and continue back along road towards the city centre (keeping the Rugby Ground on your right hand side). The Albert House is situated on your left hand side after a few metres.
