M. V. Edward Elgar provides relaxing cruises from Gloucester along the Severn navigation for up to 22 passengers. There is a variety of cruises lasting from two nights up to six nights. All meals are freshly prepared by the resident chef. The cabins are cosy, with a window, twin beds, en-suite facilities and air-conditioning.
Edward Elgar calls at all the interesting ports along the way. Sightseeing opportunities include the Abbey in Tewkesbury and Cathedrals in Gloucester and Worcester, the Slimbridge Wetlands Centre and the pretty riverside towns of Upton and Stourport. The 6-day Full River Cruise includes an excursion on the Servern Valley Railway.

Road Directions

From M5 Junctions 11a and 12, follow signs for Gloucester City Centre. Take the new western by-pass through Hempsted/Castlemeads and turn into Llanthony Road, then turn into the docks just before the lift bridge.
