Road Directions

If travelling from the South, exit the M5 at Junction 11a and bear left on to the A417. Continue forward across Zoons Court roundabout and to the next roundabout where you continue forward on to Eastern Avenue (A38). Follow Eastern Avenue over two roundabouts and join Finlay Road. At the next roundabout (near to the war memorial) bear left on to the A4173 (Stroud Road) and follow for some 3 miles. Brookthorpe is situated on the right hand side of the road.

If travelling from the North, leave the M5 at Junction 11 and bear right on to the Golden Valley By-Pass (A40). At the Elmbridge Court roundabout, turn left on to the Barnwood Link Road (A40/A417). At the next roundabout, turn right on to Corinium Avenue (A417). Continue over the next roundabout, joining Eastern Avenue (A38). Follow Eastern Avenue over two roundabouts and join Finlay Road. At the next roundabout (near to the war memorial) bear left on to the A4173 (Stroud Road) and follow for some 3 miles. Brookthorpe is situated on the right hand side of the road.

Public Transport Directions

From Gloucester Bus Station, catch the Stagecoach service number 93 which is an hourly service. Exit the bus at Brookthorpe (Gilberts Lane). Brookthorpe Lodge is situated about 100 yards up on the opposite side of the road.

From Gloucester Train Station, you will see the Bus Station directly opposite the entrance to the Train Station. Continue on the the Bus Station and catch the Stagecoach service number 93 which is an hourly service. Exit the bus at Brookthorpe (Gilberts Lane). Brookthorpe Lodge is situated about 100 yards up on the opposite side of the road.
