Road Directions

If travelling from the North, exit the M5 motorway at Junction 11. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A40 (signposted Gloucester/Cirencester). At Elmbridge Court roundabout take the 4th exit (signposted Ross). At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A38 and then at the next roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A417 (St. Oswald’s Road). At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A417. Keep left around Westgate Island and take the first left into Westgate Street. For the closest car park (Nicki's Guesthouse and Taverna has no carpark) take the first left into the car park. Walk out of the car park and turn left, cross the road and continue walking up Westgate Street. Nicki's Guesthouse and Taverna is just on your right hand side, opposite St Nicholas Church.

If travelling from the South, exit the M5 motorway at Junction 12. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the B4008. At the Cross Keys roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A38. At the next roundabout continue forward. At the traffic lights continue forward (stay in the left hand lane, signposted Ross) onto the A430, Secunda Way. Continue forward on this by pass until you come to a roundabout, stay in the left hand lane and take the 2nd exit (on to Hempstead Lane). Follow the road until you arrive at a T Junction. At the T Junction turn right. Keep in the right hand lane and take the exit at the roundabout. Immediately take the exit left into Westgate Street. Take the 1st left into the car park. This is the closest car park to the Folk Museum (Nicki's Guesthouse and Taverna has no carpark). Walk out of the car park and turn left. Cross the road. Nicki's Guesthouse and Taverna is just on your right hand side, opposite St Nicholas Church.

Public Transport Directions

From Gloucester Railway Station, continue forward to the Bus Station. From here, go straight on to Kings Square and through Kings Walk Shopping Centre. At the top of Kings Walk, you will see 'Boots' ahead of you. Turn right out of the shopping centre, continue straight at the pedestrianised cross roads and follow Westgate Street down. The Cathedral is on your right and Nicki's is situated 200 yards later on the left (opposite St Nicholas Church).

From Gloucester Bus Station, go straight on to Kings Square and through Kings Walk Shopping Centre. At the top of Kings Walk, you will see 'Boots' ahead of you. Turn right out of the shopping centre, continue straight at the pedestrianised cross roads and follow Westgate Street down. The Cathedral is on your right and Nicki's is situated 200 yards later on the left.
