Road Directions

If travelling from the North, exit the M5 motorway at Juntion 11a. Follow the A417 across two roundabouts, entering on to Corinium Avenue. At the third roundabout, turn right on to Barnwood Road (A38). At the first roundabout, turn right and follow the A38 on to Estcourt Road. Continue forward across two roundabouts, joining St Oswald's Road. After travelling under a rail bridge, follow the road round to the right handside through a set of traffic lights. If not already in the left hand lane, filter over at this point. Follow the road round to the left (Dunelm on your right) and turn left on to Westgate Street (signposted Gloucester Cathedral). Continue up this road, follow it round to the right (now Quay Street) and then bear round to the left (signposted Longsmith Street). The NCP carpark designated to the hotel is on the left and the hotel is situated just past the hotel on the righthand side of Southgate Street.

If travelling from the South, exit the M5 motorway at Juntion 12 and continue up Stroud Road (A4173) until you reach the first roundabout. Here turn right on to Finlay Road (A38) and continue over two roundabouts (now named Eastern Avenue). After a short distance, turn left on to Metz Way (A4302). At the top of Metz Way you reach a set of traffic lights (Asda on your left) where you will need to turn right and join Bruton Way. Continue along Bruton Way, straight on to Black Dog Way and then Gouda Way. At the traffic lights, bear left on to St Oswald's Road. If not already in the left hand lane, filter over at this point. Follow the road round to the left (Dunelm on your right) and turn left on to Westgate Street (signposted Gloucester Cathedral). Continue up this road, follow it round to the right (now Quay Street) and then bear round to the left (signposted Longsmith Street). The NCP carpark designated to the hotel is on the left and the hotel is situated just past the hotel on the righthand side of Southgate Street.

Public Transport Directions

If travelling from Gloucester Train Station, continue forward from the Train Station and through the Bus Station. Continue forward from the bus station (now applicable for bus travel to the city), past the taxi rank, on to Kings Square and through Kings Walk Shopping Centre. At the top of the shopping centre, turn right on to Eastgate Street, continuing until you reach the pedestrianised cross roads of the city centre. Once you have arrived at the cross roads, turn left on to Southgate Street. After a short walk, the New County is situated just past the Tourist Information Centre on the right hand side of the road.
